1) Can you present Mitsui to our readers ? And then, can you present yourself, what is your work at Mitsui ?
My name is Markus Heiss, I am 28 Years old and work as Product Manager at
Mitsui in Hamburg responsible for the GP32 European Launch

2) How did Mistui came to the decision of entering this market, with the
GP32 ?
We have been introduced the GP32 by our HongKong office that has been
approached by Gamepark. We consider this handheld of being a raw diamond -
product, which needs sufficient marketing to be successful. The technical
features and tremendous possibilities of the GP32 convinced us.
3) We know that the GP32 will be released at the beg. of november. Can you
give us the content of the package wich will be sold, and the games available
in the first months ? At what price ?
We will officially announce the delay of the European launch to the first
week of March 04 tomorrow. This delay is due to the unexpectingly high
demand, which we could not meet with our current stocks and production
capacity. A list of Launching Titles is attached. And a wide range of other
European Games will still be announced within this year.

Vous vous souvenez tous il y a quelques jours de l'annonce de Game Park, le retrait des GP32 de corée pour les allouer au marché européen... bref ils sont incapables d'en produires en quantités normales.
Ndpm 2 : bon, je n'ajoute pas la liste de jeux : vous la connaissez déjà, rien n'a changé depuis la dernière, que des titres coréens, pas une seule autre surprise).
4) Who is going to distribute and promote the GP32 in France ? In the rest
of Europe ?
We will also announce this within the next weeks. Nevertheless we can
already say, that we could cooperate with the leading distributors in each
territory.
(Ndpm : mensonge : rien n'était signé à ce jour pour permettre une sortie en europe. En France personne. Le seul "distributeur" connu à ce jour est en allemagne, et si j'ai bien compris c'est une chaine de boutiques de JV. J'habite exactement à 7 mn de voiture d'allemagne, j'y vais régulièrement et je lis parfois la presse JV là bas : jamais entendu parler.)
5) Do you have planned a promotional campaign in Europe ? If so, when and
where ? (press, tv, internet, etc.)
There won`t be a Pan European campaign but national campaigns, that are and
will be handled by our local partners. Every media will be used except TV.
6) Do you have the support of european or american developpers ? Who ?
Yes, we have and will announce this within short

7) Can we expect to see big names or licences on GP32 ? Wich titles do you
expect to be blockbusters in the next months ? Maybe are you allowed to
give us a few names ?
We not so much focussed on acquiring blockbusters but on software, that
really uses the processor and display capacity of the GP32. We did not want
to release the 35th version of a Blockbuster but will present the audience
something really new, which is available for the first time on a handheld.
High resolution Egoshooters and complex strategy games are our focus.

8) Many gamers consider Astonisha Story R as the best game of the GP32, and the only game at this time wich can really be competitive against GBA's lineup. Will it be released in Europe ? If so,when ? In wich languages will the game be translated ?
It is not yet localized for the launch but due to many requests we are seriously considering to include it in our Range of Korean Titles
(Ndpm : no comment. Comment prétendre s'y connaitre en jeux vidéo, et ne pas inclure ce titre d'office ? Et mettre à la place de sombres merdes ?)
9) The GP32 will be the most powerful handled on the European market. But not for a very long time, with the Zodiac arrival this year, the PSP next year... Do you fear them ?
The GP32 will be less expensive and approaching to a different target group. Even though we expect to be able to technically compete with Zodiac, we are not sure yet, when Zodiac really comes. PSP is a better hardware but will only come in 1 1/2 years.
10) GP32 owners are really disappointed by the lack of support of Game Park through these two years (no commercial games, no real support for developers, etc). Will Mistui have another politic with players ?
That's what we are already intensively working on. The software line-up will surprise you in a positive way.
(Ndpm : oui oui, c'est pour ça qu'ils ne peuvent pas annoncer un seul nouveau titre que l'on ne connait pas depuis six mois au moins ^^
11) How many games do you expect to release each month ?
I do not want to name a figure for games but want to use the opportunity to
tell you, that we not only want to publish games but also all kinds of very
interesting user software, such as Language learning programs. We want to
make use of all possibilities, that the GP32 is offering. And after all this
makes it so different from other handhelds.
12) We know that a few GP32 games are done, but not released (for exemple, Radium, Pinball Fantaisies, etc.). Are you planning to release them ?
We are still in negotiation with Gamepark about these issues but certainly want to take up these games as well.
(Ndpm : mensonge : certains de ces développeurs ont relancé Game Park et Mistui, il y a quelques jours encore ils n'avaient jamais obtenu de réponse...)
13) At the release of the GP32, Game Park bought a several big
licences from Capcom (Street Fighter, Breath of Fire etc.) but never developed them. These games were highly expected by gamers. Have you considered to develop them further ?
