Communiqué en anglais

This year, once again, it’s the AC!

On the 18th and the 19Th of April the AC returns! We will be delighted to welcome you in the town of Congis-sur-Thérouanne (near Paris) for this unique event! Subscription is now open, don’t waste any time, places are limited.

A new concept
For the last 4 years, the AC was an ATARI-convention. This year we decided to welcome new machines that forged the computer industry in the 80’s and the early 90’s: AMIGA & AMSTRAD fans you are most welcome! The goal remains the same during a weekend, we will speak, play, trade and remember the good times of our teenage years.

New for this year: a coding party
Another new thing this year is the introduction of a coding party. Different teams will have 24 hours to develop a game on their favorite machine (computer or console). The theme of the game will be communicated on the Saturday (18th) and the teams will have until Sunday (19th) to impress our jury. Are you ready to be the first AC Coding Champions?

But still we are here to play
If you don’t have a clue about coding, don’t be afraid as games are still there: from the VCS 2600 to the Atari Jagaur the Commodore 64 to Amiga CD32 - every machine will be there.
Revive your youth, the long afternoons spent with your friends, fight those invincible bosses all over again, the joy of slashing them, and the rage when you’re beaten by them - it was always just before your final shot too wasn’t it?).

They will be there, and we are awaiting you to witness this.

The RGC Team

About the AC
Launched in 2002 under the name Jaguar Connexion, the convention became an ever-growing success. Five years later the convention became the AC in order to embrace all the computers and consoles of the Fuji brand. The AC is still evolving in order to provide its visitors a more unique experience each year.

About the Retro-gaming Connexion Association
Founded in the 2004 by six video games fans from different backgrounds (journalism, multimedia animation, swimming pool engineer), the association had as an ambition to gather fans of video games through conventions.
The Jaguar Connexion, during its 5 editions knew a growing success and became a reference in the kind.
Since then, the RGC now organise 2 conventions a year and support the amateur video games industry by:
• helping with the design of the packaging for games (Beggar Prince on the Sega Megadrive, Alpine Games and Yastuna Vol 2: Space Incident on the Atari Lynx)
• creation of the manuals (Total Carnage – Atari Jaguar)
• and DVD production (Amiga Museum).
