Welcome kskunk, and congratulations to Tursi and you for this amazing work ! top
kskunk (./8) :
While designing the Skunkboard, I learned about the JagCF. I admire the JagCF design very much. It's faster, more powerful, and more flexible than the Skunkboard. I thought about imitating the JagCF, but it would increase my cost above $100. (Also, I learned I'm not skilled enough to use an FPGA and SDRAM. SCPCD is a hardware genius. top.gif )
Thank you ! I think SCPCD will like the compliment wink
kskunk (./8) :
I hope people understand that the Skunkboard is meant to be a developer's tool, like the Alpine. The JagCF is a console upgrade, like the JagCD.
Exactly oui
kskunk (./8) :
I thought of posting a comparison on JSII, but I am traumatized by flame wars... eek.gif
I definitely understand you !
kskunk (./8) :
You're exactly right. But, Tursi has a thicker skin (pelt?) than most people, so he probably won't care if he gets flamed.
That's good.
kskunk (./8) :
I hope anyone who loves our community enough to learn Jag programming, would not be interested in damaging it. smile.gif
I don't think the few of us who know how to program the Jaguar would use their knowledge to crack your device, either. smile

By the way, a little tip : make sure that the edges of the card are beveled. SCPCD told me he damaged the cartridge connector on his Jaguar when testing the JagCF, because the edges were too sharp.
