Who is Uther?

Uther the Lightbringer is the main character in the Warcraft series. Uther was a paladin of the Shining Blade in the ages of Azeroth. The paladin and the paladin-arch-lord have both been in conflict on multiple occasions. Uther in particular was an old ally to the Burning Blade.[12] He is also known to be a loyal friend of Kalyria, the mother of Ragnaros, though when he and Thrall met, the two were rivals.

Uther is also the author of The World Below. It is said that the world beneath the Earth is in eternal turmoil and will last a very long time. Uther has created an immense portal below the Earth that allows him to travel to whatever is below at any given moment and even the darkest of regions.[13] He can sense the past and future. He is the keeper of the Great Icecrown and is believed to have been the first to discover such an area of the world and of the Great Dark One's forces.[14][15][16]

The World Below

An ancient, subterranean passageway leads from the surface of the continent to the World Below, which is located the vast center of the Undercity, the heart of the world. The World Below is where the most powerful dark powers dwell beneath the earth


Who is Uther? The original King of the United Kingdom

It was just a day earlier, on Saturday afternoon, that a friend of the late Uther Pendragon sent the king his first tweet. In the message, the wizard-magician wrote:

"Hey Uther, I'm really proud of what you've done over these past few years! But maybe you know why I was doing this."

As usual, I took it as a sign that I was a good guy. Uther replied: "I'm doing it too!" (In the Kingkiller Chronicle novels, Uther is a hero-king that takes the position of king when his father and the previous king are assassinated, and he is given free reign to rule as he sees fit - as a wizard as well as king, as shown in this conversation.)
