What is the Atari Lynx?

The Atari Lynx was a gaming machine that Atari released in 1983 for $199 dollars. With a 6 inch color monitor screen on it and a color chip (that was more powerful than the LCD screen on the original Atari games) the Lynx was one of the first computers to use the RGB color space. The Lynx did come out in 1985 for $199 and sold for roughly $200, but that's about the price of one console. There was also a Lynx arcade console which looked very similar.

What's the difference with an arcade console on an Atari console?

For the Arcade console on the Atari, the only part on it you are replacing are the Atari's main joysticks and joystick ports. How are its specifications?

The Atari Lynx was 8x3 inch. Atari's first home screen, known as the PDP (Programmable Display) included the power button located on the right side. Power output was variable from 1-100 W. Power input was from CRT video, though some system manufacturers still included the power button, as did Apple. Atari's first TV was a 2nd generation display unit, which had a smaller CRT picture that could be up to 10" x 9". This was also known as the VICII. Atari made some of Atari's first arcade games, which were used by several home computer manufacturers.

Why were Atari Lynx games used in the home?

Many Atari models featured arcade games. Games like Space Harrier and Space Invaders were used in Atari Lynx's programs for various computers, some of which had more graphical capabilities. Some systems used programming languages such as BASIC for games on Atari Lynx cartridges, along with many other languages. Many Atari model models also featured the PDP (Programmable Displays), which included screen and an LED
