Works fine for me too in Inkscape, after I installed it. None of the commonly-used browsers has flawless SVG support anyway, so I'm not too surprised that it doesn't work properly in Firefox.

I like the overall idea. Perhaps the gears (which are an indication we're talking about _tools_ for the calculator), are not visible enough ?
Also, where do you plan on putting the "GCC4TI" caption ? On the sides, so that the icon has a square form factor ?
