As you can see on the photo,my tdb has one 1km on it
and also have these "little electronic "plaques"".The problem itself,is that connectors are different size and you cannot just connect them together.In anyway this isnt "plug in" tdb 
So my best quest is,that it need wired connectors between car connectors and tdb connectors 
And it also have DIESEL warning lights(those two on the left! on your tdb)!
