Tu peux aussi essayer la solution de KDE (Baloo, avec Dolphin comme interface), elle marche peut-être mieux que Tracker. À voir si Baloo tourne automatiquement même sous Unity quand tu l'installes ou s'il faut bidouiller un peu.
