A fair point and also raised at AA and JSII.

In fact the engine is already drawing the character multiple times (also she is comprised of polygons and is not a sprite) in order to simulate the load of drawing NPCs and objects - so the frame rate should not drop any further than the demo or at least only marginally if there are a lot of objects on screen in addition to multiple NPCs.

In addition although the engine does not know what to do with the results, collision detection was also active - so again we feel the frame rate is indicative of what the game should be.
