I was asked if Ms. Night Stalker contained features proposed after
Night Stalker was released. With the way Night Stalker was
designed/programmed, I do not believe those features would have been
feasible without re-writing a major section of code. I also do not
believe the features would have made the game fun.
I am not a fan of scrolling mazes. I do not see how a bazooka would
have enhanced game play. My issue with Night Stalker was that the game
play was slow, there was only one maze, and the bats/robots were
stupid; all you had was one smart robot. My translation of the game
was to keep it "original" but make it fun.
What makes my version better/more fun? The progression is not
dependent on the smart robot and it is not fixed. The action picks up
after you kill your first adversary. There is a randomness to the game
where it is hard then easy then hard again. You have 9 different mazes
to play in. It has the original feel but plays COMPLETELY different.
If you were not a fan of Night Stalker, you could be a fan of Ms.
Night Stalker.
