I`ve noticed if I`m using utf-8 example for my own language (Polish) unfortunatly I get insanly big file - 1mb for invoice without any graphics - converting it futher by createPDF it compress it to 20kb. But it only happens if I use freeserif font, so - is there any way to make this file smaller? 1mb per invoice will kill my bandwidth unfortunatly and... it looks very unproffesional (1mb for 1 page with text and table is clear waste of space, especially if I want to email it). I would be very greateful for any help!
the full font must be shipped in the file, your pdf compressor must see the real char used and remove all other char from the font
html2pdf is not a font parser, why not postprocess the result file on the server with your compressor before serving it to the client ?
