PpHd Le 21/06/2005 à 16:55 Fell free to post bugs here.
Hi!
I have an TI-89 Titanium with AMS 3.10 and PreOS 1.0.4. My problem is that i can`t turn it off. When i press "2nd" + "On" to turn it off i launch PreOS. What can i do to still have PreOs installed and not having to take one battery out so i can turn my Ti off.
I`m a newbie with this kind of stuff so i would like u could help me.
Thank you very much!!
PpHd Le 24/08/2005 à 16:09 Are you sure you are using 1.0.4 and not 1.0.2?
This bug should have been fixed in 1.0.3, and it was reported it was fixed.
Have you got the message : "Instatted. preos 1.0.4" ?
Hi again!
I`m pretty sure that i have Preos 1.0.4. Because when write "preos()" appears an window saying "PreOs v1.0.4 Kernel already installed".
So what can i do?
Thank you for replying!!!
Try to uninstall it, as written in the documentation.
Do you have HW3Patch ?
Hi Lionel!
The HW3Patch doesn`t work on my calc. This is the message that appers:
"ERROR: Unsupported AMS version".
Which is the best method to uninstall the PreOs?
How do i do an complet reset?
Another thing that i just noticed now: just by pressing "ON" i turn the PreOs Browser on!
Thank you!!
I think that a reset might help
(2nd-hand-on on 92+/v200 - 2nd-left-right-on on 89)
beware : it will erase all data you have in RAM !
(but it should not erase what yhou have in archive memory)
after that, re-try to install preOS (maybe you'll need hw3patch before, but I'm not sure of that)
Hi again!
I`ve been testing various setups and i come to this conclusion that my calc only operates well with this:
---AMS 3.00
---PreOs 1.0.4
---TxtRider
Thank you very much 4 ur help!
You should read : "PreOs v1.0.4 >> 'A kernel is already installed'"
