Bonjour à tous
Excusez les anglais
We have just bought a 19 TRS Evasion which turns out to be a buffalo! It's a very early series 2 from juin 1986 (RP 3546). Possibly it could be one of the first series 2 buffalo, but I don't know this for certain.
The story I have so far is that it was owned by the company Heuliez (which also shows on the carte gris), and driven by Heuliez himself. In 2001 it was auctioned off, and brought to Denmark where it is now. In 2006 the number plates were taken off, and it has sat unused until now.
Of the special buffalo-options, it has the black leather interior, chrome roof rails and the walnut panels. Unfortunately the varnish on the walnut panels have come off probably due to the moisture. The triangular window in the right back door was broken, so moisture could come into the car.
It is surprisingly rust free with very little surface rust. The alloy wheels will need to be redone, but that shouldn't be too difficult. There are heuliez-stickers on the rear fenders, which I haven't seen before. Does anyone know why it has these? There is also a heuliez-emblem placed under the trunk lock.
The original engine was removed to be replace by a modified GTi engine. Apparently the original engine was also an 8-valve GTi engine, but I have no proof of this yet. We are working on finding the original engine.
Si quelqu'un ici a des informations à ce sujet, merci de me le faire savoir
