When I check out a slot for the first time, I always end up focusing on one thing more than the others, but I’m never sure if I’m doing it in the smartest way. Sometimes I go straight to RTP because I want a rough idea of how the game is balanced, but other times I care more about the bonus side because that’s what usually shapes the whole session. With this one also having a pretty decent max win on paper, I’m curious what people usually look at first: RTP, bonus features, or maximum win potential?

I usually start with the bonus features, mainly because they tell me what the session is actually going to feel like. RTP is useful, and max win sounds nice on paper, but things like free spins, sticky wilds, multiplier wilds, and whether there’s an Ante Bet or Bonus Buy option give me a much clearer picture of the rhythm. I had a quick look at the Hot Fiesta game page before trying it, and that helped more than just seeing the top-line numbers. After that, I’ll check RTP and volatility to see whether it matches the kind of session I want.

I tend to notice pretty quickly whether a game explains itself in a way that makes me want to keep going. Numbers matter, but if the overall setup feels confusing or too busy, I usually lose interest fast. On the other hand, when the main features are clear from the start and the pace makes sense, I’m much more likely to give it a fair try. That first impression often matters more to me than any single stat on its own.
