I recently got a TI 89 Titanium and I can't seem to download an assembly program OS. I really want to play chrono fantasy and stuff lyk that. I need a OS that doen't take up too much memory because I keep getting an insufficient memory error. I have no other programs installed. someone plz help me!

Erase some of your Flash Applications.

If you didn't already, backup all FlashApps and deinstall them. That will free up some memory.

You probably mean a "kernel". On TI-68k calculators, kernels are layers on top of the OS (AMS usually), not OSes themselves.
If you really mean OS, well, you can always try PedroM, which is PpHd's OS. One of the main reasons why it exists is that CF eats up too much memory (which you can see in other topics of that board).
PedroM provides minimal compatibility with AMS 1.xx (the old system, which has been discontinued for six years now). The main functions are reimplemented, but most are not. Hardly any AMS 2.xx/3.xx function is reimplemented.
Using PedroM should enable you playing CF, but you can say goodbye to math (PedroM turns your TI-89 into a buggy TI-30, some FP functions returning garbage) and a number of programs and games which require AMS 2.xx or later...

[cite= Myself]yes, it needs a lot i guess that PphD will do something sooner or later. For now just archive everythings that is usefull, do a RAM reset, run preos() then cf()

and also, DO NOT archive the cterror file; or the ti will freze if exiting cf with an error. [/cite] delete it if nessesary.

cf's savegames can not be archived either (delete it if nessesary)
