Eurocon 2010 will take place in Manchester from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September. This will be the third time the event has been held in England, and follows this year's successful event in Vienna.
The venue for Eurocon 2010 will be the Lass O'Gowrie pub (www.thelass.co.uk) which has a wide range of great beers and excellent food - it won the "Best Pub" award at the Manchester Food & Drink festival 2009.
The Lass is already well known to retrogamers in the UK, as it hosts a monthly retro computer club (www.thelass.co.uk/whatson.php) and was also the venue for Console Combat (www.consolecombat.co.uk) in July 2009. The pub has lots of old consoles, computers and arcade machines on site
The venue is a short walk from Oxford Road station and there is plenty of car parking and hotel accommodation nearby.
