Pardon my English, but I was wondering whether or not GCC4TI supports silver cable linking. I am using a TI-89 Titanium. I can "build" or "make" a program without issues, but anytime I attempt to run the program it says: "Error opening link port". The cable works fine with TI Graph Link, and I am using the same Com Port for both Graph Link and GCC4TI (which is Com Port 3). I am new to programming and especially new to GCC4TI, so help of any kind would be useful.
Thank you.

Hello smile

Assuming you're talking about the SilverLink cable (USB -> jack 2.5 mm): the IDE does not support it. However, you can transfer things to your real calculator through Silverlink, using TILP II (linking software) or TIEmu (emulator).
But other things in your message ("TI Graph Link", that the link cable has a Com port - the SilverLink does not have one) make me think that you may be referring to the cable known as "gray" instead ?

By the way, this is one more reason why KTIGCC/W32 is needed, it will support this thanks to libcalccables.

Aha, it is indeed working now. Not quite sure what fixed it. (Lionel, you are correct, I was referring to the gray cable. I thought they were the same thing until I looked it up just now.)
