Problems with Umlauts like Ö,Ä - Page 1

Hello,
I am new to Html2PDf
I have problem with creating PDF when the page or form has german Umlauts like Ö.Ü, Ä

The PDF ignored this characters

I do it like this:

require_once('../html2pdf/html2pdf.class.php');

$doc = $inhaltpdf;
$pdf_filename = "test";
$pdf_filename.= "$id.pdf";
$html2pdf = new HTML2PDF('P','A4','de');
$html2pdf->setDefaultFont('Arial');
$html2pdf->writeHTML($doc, false);
$html2pdf->Output($pdf_filename,"F");

are you using PHP under Windows ?

yes, its a XAMPP installation with PHP 5.3.1

ther is lot of pb with the Windows version of PHP and UTF8...

try your script on a linux server to see if it works
