Texas Instruments recalls software CDs
It recently came to our attention that some inappropriate was included on a free
software CD packaged with two accessories for TI calculators. This content was not
created by TI, and is inconsistent with our moral and ethical standards.
We have contacted retailers who carried the product, and are working with them to get
the accessory packs that contain this CD off shelves and returned to TI.
The free CD was included in the TI-Fun Kit and the Connectivity Value Kit, and has the
title "ticalc.org" on its face. If you purchased one of these accessories, we're asking for
your help to return the CD to TI. More details, and a photo of the CD, are located on
our website at education.ti.com/cd. If you have this CD, please see the website or call
us toll-free at 866-843-3822 for instructions.
We sincerely apologize for allowing this to happen.
We are committed to providing high quality products
that help teachers teach and students learn, and we
take that responsibility seriously.
