Pour les flemmards:

The ScienceOps "Double Or Nothing" Offer

Collectively, the ScienceOps staff has over 20 years experience in optimizing the performance of scientific codes in a variety of disciplines. In that time, we have always found that we could achieve dramatic improvements in the speed and accuracy of these codes. Our confidence in our ability to consistently accelerate mission critical codes enables us to offer a "Double or Nothing" service, in which we guarantee to speed up your code by at least a factor of two, or you pay nothing.

Here’s how the ScienceOps "Double or Nothing" service can assure you of results: First, at no charge to the client, we evaluate the existing code and prepare a detailed proposal for the optimization project

* Initial Code Assessment [NO CHARGE]
o ScienceOps conducts a rapid assessment of the existing code base, measuring its current performance and evaluating it for potential optimizations.
o Nondisclosure agreements can assure the security of your proprietary technology.

* Full Proposal for Optimization Project [NO CHARGE]
o Procedures and standards for measuring code performance are fully specified
o Validation cases fully specified
o Full timeline and costing for project
o Project will not exceed proposal cost estimate

Upon approval from the client, ScienceOps then proceeds with the proposed optimization effort:
* Project Execution
o ScienceOps applies its SciCode™ process to optimize your code
o Full, secure archiving of original and evolving code
o Continuous validation of evolving code
o Client kept fully informed of project progress and status

* Final Project Assessment
o Final benchmarks of ScienceOps optimized code performed
o Final report delivered to client
o Client reviews and signs off on project results
o Final billing only occurs if the optimized code is twice or more times as fast
o The project is Free if your code is not twice as fast

What kind of technology is this?

6
