Wiping rom - Page 1

I tried and almost succeded in installing pedrom. But my Graphlink cable (using tilp) timed out at 98%. Now my calculator cannot function or stay on long enough to reinstall an os is there a way to clear the rom (shorting pins out ?) so that i can get the "press i to install" basecode prompt. I would love any help

Maybe, remove the batteries, and the reinstall them while pressing ON+APPPS.

Yes !!!. Thank you so much. At first it did not work but i just didn't hold it down long enough. Are there any other "special combo keys" that i should know about? (i got my ti89 second hand so i have no manual and refuse to register with TI to download it).
