hi guys,
i have just cheated my way into this forum smile.gif to ask for help from a jag coder.
we are members of the eclipse team germany (remember the Iron Soldier games smile.gif ) M. rosocha and M. Bittner cannot participate so we try hustling some of u guys to finish a "Pinball Fantasy" style game. We have design docu, GFX (looks really polished, Alien style) and Sound. We can also throw in some Eclipse source codes of all kinds. If there is a decent coder around who can commit some time to this kind of game please give us a shout.

Les discussions sont en cours. Comme d'habitude avec les idiots d'a coté, ca a viré en bataille de personnes au bout de, meme pas une page de posts. Si cette personne vient vraiment d'Eclipse, ca ne va pas la rassurer, il aurait mieux fait de tomber sur Atari Age.

This is great news, I really hope you'll be able to finish this game and let the Jag fans play it, one way or another

You did a wonderful job with the Iron Soldier series.

But please, don't be mislead here by the few bad-mouths, always crying against X or Y. Sadly, I'm not surprised it's starting, again and again after, a few posts only.

Whatever a few people here can say, Carl has been the biggest Jaguar fan since Atari's fall. He has published 6 Jag games and 8 Lynx games. Nobody else was able to do that.

Don't loose your time with these poor arguments, and rather focus your efforts on the release of this game, I'm sure you'll make the great choice. And feel free to surf on Internet and visit more Jag places, to have a global view of Jag scene of today.

Jag fans would be glad to play another Eclipse Jag game !

hello everyone,

i will do my research about jag games publishing. we truly focus on crafting games and nothing else at the moment. when the time comes we will make the right decision about how to publish, but be assured that we will try and do what its best for the dev-team because only that would ensure further development and shapes the quality. If we cannot reach the quality we want we would rather cancel the project. maybe i mentioned songbird too early... we didnt even talk to carl about publishing this game with him. it was just a general information for us and nothing solid. But we still give songbird credit for maintainig an official business because one cannot keep things underground and think its enough.

..and Gorf.. i get the hint... i will get back to you.

Oui Kuk Eclipse sur Jaguar, ca fait bizzare, reste plus qu'a esperer que cela soit a la hauteur de l'Eclipse que tout le monde connait

Marc is currently not part of this as he is almost burried with work but i managed to get some mad atarians from france. its close to mine so we can have personal contact from time to time.
m .bittner works at Synetic these days and does 3D racing games on PC.
other peeps from eclipse formed Sproing in austria...

i will stick around anyway and keep u updated.

Bon on va vous passer la mauvaise nouvelle. Car Dan l'a annoncé sur un autre forum.

Jagware avait récupéré le developpement du jeu, nous avions formé une équipe de 4 codeurs, vu que soit disant il avait déjà les graphes, le gameplay, etc.... mais le projet a été annulé, pas par les membres de Jagware, par Dan lui meme, apparement il avait pas grand chose a nous donné autre qu'une table qui avait en plus des erreurs de dessin ( Tempi )

Donc pas de nouveau Pinball sur Jaguar, désolé pour ceux qui l'attendait. Mais cela ne vient en aucun cas de Jagware, merci nous étions motivé, très motivé, mais Dan a du mal comprendre que dans le monde 'homebrew', le terme amateur désigne peut etre juste pas des personnes qui font un produit commercial, car dès que certaine questions techniques on été posé par notre équipe, il a disparu. Bon on va quand meme pas lui lancer la pierre mais bon....
