This auction is for the Ultra Rare World Championships 1990 NES Nintendo Grey Game Cartridge. This cartridge is in Near Mint Condition. I believe it is one of the nicest ones out there. I have owned this for many years and it has only been put in a System twice. The first time when I originally purchased it and the second was the day before I posted this auction. It has been in my collection and very well taken care of. For those of you who do not know these were never available for purchase. Nintendo held a World Championship and 90 of the Grey Cartridges were made and handed out to the City Finalists. Of the 90 that were made only 26 are know to still exist and this is one of them. The only one that is more valuable is the Gold Version of this game. This cartridge is in excellent physical and mechanical condition. To test this cartridge before the listing I actually opened a NOS Nintendo and played it in that. I did not want to put it into an old machine and cause damage or dirty the cartridge. In the past these have sold for as low as $2000 in 96 and the label was completely torn off to $10,000 in 2007 which had one small fold on the label in the top corner where the label started to lift. I also know of one that brought $6500 that had tape across the top of the label. Like I said before this is one of the nicest if not the nicest ones out there. This is definately a prize piece for your collection. I hate to see it go but it is time someone else to enjoy it. I would prefer to do a local pick up but I will ship this. I will have it fully insured and well packed.

I have had a lot of emails regarding this game and it origin and originality. I am hoping this will clear up alot of questions.
This cartridge was purchased by me in 1992. A friend of mine was actually in the competition and was the finalist that received the game. I will not disclose his name since I have not spoken to him in about 11 years and I would not hand out anyone's name without their consent. The buyer of this auction will also be protected and I will not release their name. This game has been in my personal collection since. It is 100% real and has not been altered. I have over 40 systems, 300 games, and 12 full size arcade games which I have decided to sell off. I have been getting out of Video Games and into musical instruments and microphones so I just do not have the room or money for everything. As for the condition of the label it is original and has not been reprinted or doctored. As I said in the listing this is probably one of the nicest ones out there. For the last 19 years it has been inside a safe with no one touching it. It is very hard to see in the picture but on the outside of the label about an 1/8" to a 1/4" around the label you can see a little yellowing (from the glue used 20 some years ago) It isn't very bad and looks like all the carts do now which is very easy to see on the white labels.
I also want to point out the reason I lowered the price and removed the best offer is because I was hoping that someone was going to make a reasonable offer and grab it up but after a ton of emails and some very lowball from ebayers that were not at all serious and had no clue to what this actually was I decided to lower the price to what I feel is fair and remove the best offer to save myself time.
