Merry christmas and an excellent 2012 to all of you !!!
I wanted to thank everyone who supported my endevours over the last year and i am already looking forward in showing you my new stuff for 2012 !!!! After a bit of tiptoe-ing in 2007, The year 2011 has been the year i finally got my feet wet with Videopac/Odyssey2 game development with 2 game releases (AstroDodge and Mayhem) and i got to release a game for the vectrex that had been in development since 2008 (Shifted). Also, i wanted to thank the people who wrote in and/or sent me a card this year, your support is appreciated!
So what can we expect in the new year??? 2012 will be the 10-year anniversary of Revival Studios, so i am hoping to make it a special year. Here are some hints:
VIDEOPAC/ODYSSEY2:

My new videopac / Odyssey2 game is planned for release around march 2012. Official annoucements will be made in february.
In the summer we will see a brand new Videopac / Odyssey2 game starring Wizzy. This time he will actually be the star in his own action/adventure game. I don't want to reveal too much about at this point, but i can say that it will be a visually stunning game. For example one of my beta-testers refused to believe the game was running on a videopac/odyssey2.
VECTREX:

I'll also be continueing my vectrex work in 2012. There are a few projects done a few years that still need finishing and release (MVR Racing and Vector Arcade: Volume 1) and i am hoping to release some sort of multicart collection of all my unreleased vectrex stuff from the last 10 years. D:2, The sequel to Debris is also still in development and i will be looking into finially releasing VexOS and VexosBasic this year (its been finishing since 2007 waiting for a proper release).
COLECOVISION/MSX/SMS:

Also, I am currently preparing a few projects for the ColecoVision, MSX and Sega Mastersystem/Gamegear systems. I did a whole bunch of work on these back in 2006, but i'm currently redoing my whole development setup to add support for Sega Mastersystem/Gamegear as well as developing a prototyping-suite that emulates the Colecovision/MSX vdp (which i've just finished yesterday). I'm visiting a MSX fair in january, and although it will come too soon for a release, i hope to have a working beta ready for my first game release.
OTHER PLATFORMS:

Last but not least there are 2 other projects. One of them is a first new release for a rare platform. The game was done in 2010 but i have good hopes that this year we can get the hardware/production side of things ready so it can get a physical release.
The other one is a Virtual Boy project i started last year, with a possible releasedate of christmas 2012 if i can get the carts produced.
Last but not least i'm considering the release of a few Dreamcast projects i did a few years ago.
Anyways, i am looking forward to the new year and i will be doing my very best to make it a special one for retro gamers, collectors and supporters of my work!
