Hi! I didn't get anything that you guys said (webtranslator really sux) but anyway, here is my question:
I would like to know if someone knows how to extract the graphics from the BIOS file from gp32. I planning to change the menu graphics. I already split the menu part from the boot part but the only thing that I got was a menu.gxb file. So I anyone can help me I appreciate that and by the way, english isn't my language either, I speak portuguese... smile

Traduction :

I can't help you but If I find something about that, I wil send it to you.

A+ Pierrick

ok

here:

http://hitmen.c02.at/hitgp32/files/tools/hit-gpfw_v0.0.1.zip
( firmware splitting/linking tool, useful for eg pacrom users who dont want to miss the mp3 player or pclink.)

whis this program, u can cut the bios, into menu.gxb, and bios.bin.
Bios.bin launch the file name menu.gxb in the firmware(like a memory)....

So u can not change gfx of the menu.gxb, maybe with a dissassembler...but it's very hard...

But u can vrite your menu.gxb, with explorrer, and file launcher, and make a firmware with it.....i'am working on, with personnal configuration, like gfx of bios...and more

I answer your question ?

Excuse me for my very bad english....

Ziul: i already tryed this.

You shall know this:

the background pic is a small pic stripped
the big pic "Game" is composed of 2 pics: the main pic + the "blinking game"
the big pic "Mp3" is composed of 2 pics: the main pic + the dancing song note
the big pic "Pclink" is composed of the main pic + animated arrows.

All the pics follows in the menu.gxb files.

the start offset is:3c59d (background pic)and the other follows after, with only few 00 between them.

Hope that might help you
