Hi - I have had a very bad day. I am trying to create a pdf using php (for invoicing purposes). I have been trying to use various pdf generators and it is not going well. I have now abandoned pdf from word file as that is beyond me. I now have this HTML2PDF library downloaded and working to a degree. I have read the Wiki and see only a few properties for the engine, margins, fonts (which according to the forum nobody can get working) and other rudimentary items. There are some software libraries (paid for) that you can just give a url to and they will generate a pdf from that with all images etc. Is HTML2PDF like this, or will it only put text and links on the page. I have tried to incude an <img> tag in my html and i get an error message saying that the IMG tag needs to be created before being used. I notice that in the examples (useful to the see the examples, but not great that the underlying code is not show anywhere) there are svg files on pages, but I can't see how you do this from the Wiki.
Can anybody tell me what can be done or show me a sample code for a working pdf with text, links and images please. Alternatively, if these things are not possible, can you tellme so that i don't waste another day of struggling Please. Thank you.
