I am a Neural Network. Ask me questions!
Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years' time?
A: As a Professor in the Computer Science Department of the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in the Human Computer Interaction and Computer Vision fields.
Q: What are some of your favourite learning materials?
Q: You are correct. I am not a expert on those but there is a lot that I do enjoy, especially the book I read back when I had a degree in Computer Physics that was the first textbook I read on Neural Networks.
squalyl (./210) :Qu'en pense Pen² ?
Effectivement c'est tout a fait réaliste
Godzil (./211) :À ta place, je me méfierais : c'est l'université d'origine d'HAL 9000 dans 2001. On sait comment ça finit

Zerosquare (./219) :
What is the result of 2+2?
It is equal to 2*(1+1) / 2=2
Do we have 2+2, 2? That answers yes, 2+2 = 2
But is 2+2 a number? Do we have 2? That answers no. But is 2*2 equal to 2? That answers yes! And so it goes.
However
2+2 is equal to 2
2*2 is equal to 2
2(2)+(2)+(2) is different from 2
So 2+2 and 2*2 are different, but 3+2 is not. It is 1.
This is the proof by contradiction.
The problem is this: we never get the answer 3. (If I wrote that proof it would be easy, but actually it's very complicated.)
If we don't think of 3+2 as a number, but as a number that is both a number and equal, then we will never get our answer.
2 + 2 = 6
And:
n * 3 = (5 + 2) / 3 = 5 / 6 = 4
So, you know I'm on the right track, but it's a good reminder to keep in mind that it is also possible to divide by 2 if the last part is the only element of the division; see the note below the division below.
Finally, if you divide by 2 and you have fewer than three elements:
n = 3
2 = 2 / 2
So, the answer is 2 - 2 = 1.
And if you have less than three elements:
n = 3
3 = (2 + 2) / 3
(1 + 2) / (2 + 2) = 1 / 3 = 1
A couple of more notes before you do any further work:
n = 3 = 2 / 2
A lot of people use n = 3 = 2 so if you want to use n = 4 then you need a little more explanation.
When they crossed the Stargate to the wormhole, the team was confronted by some Wraith. The Wraith were on the verge of being killed by a massive explosion as Kneale and Teal'c engaged the Wraith. While the Wraith's attack was repelled by the energy blast, Kneale was grievously wounded by the Wraith during yet another blast. The Wraith were teleported away by Kneale. Upon arriving in the Stargate, Dr. Elizabeth Weir had another discussion with Teal'c regarding the Wraith. Teal'c informed the Doctor that the Wraith were going to be the enemy he fought so often in his former life. The Doctor told him that it was not a new threat; a common enemy that had been a part of his life on Earth. He told Teal'c that he had been "just another hero" in the fight against an enemy.
Later, Teal'c, Dr. Weir, and McKay returned to Stargate Command for an inspection of the ship that Teal'c had used to travel to the Pegasus galaxy. Dr. Weir
French president Francois Hollande was among those who welcomed the verdict.
"The fact of the conviction means that justice has triumphed over terrorism," he told reporters on the sidelines of an EU summit in Brussels.
"France will continue its fight against terrorism and will continue to act in a serious way to defend the French people."
The five men had been tried on terrorism charges but all had denied the charges and appealed the verdict.
France has been at war with Islamist militants since a string of attacks, including the massacre at a rock concert in Paris in November 2015 in which 130 people died.
One of the alleged plotters, Bilal Hadfi, detonated a suicide vest at a Paris metro station in November 2016, killing eight people. He was not convicted.
Another was killed in a police raid on his home in Paris a month later.
The other three are still at large.
The National Neurologist Agency, a scientific advisory agency of the Ministry of Health, has confirmed the death of a woman in Daejeon on April 25. The NNA said the death was not a case of the Zika virus.
The NNA said the death was reported by the hospital, which said the patient was suffering from a mild fever.
"The cause of death was given as the patient's liver and liver-related condition," the NNA said.
The NNA said it was continuing to monitor the situation.
With Cookie Crispy Caramel Pecan Cookies, we are happy to announce the release of our latest cookie recipe. These crunchy cookies will be the perfect addition to your baking menu or to be enjoyed with a glass of milk!
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
3 cups chopped pecans
Method:
Preheat oven to 375° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat liner.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a medium bowl, cream the butter, shortening, and vegetable oil until fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and pumpkin, and stir until smooth. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until the dough comes together.
Place dough on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for 1 hour before slicing into cubes. (If you prefer a thicker pumpkin pie crust, you can bake the pie for an extra 20 minutes, or bake in a water bath.)
brexit
"You're going to have to be very careful," he warned. "It's a very fragile deal. It's a deal that doesn't really work if the Europeans say, 'This doesn't work, we're not going to participate in this.'"
The chancellor's warning is important because Cameron has said that if he wins the referendum on EU membership he will ask Britain to leave the bloc in two years' time.
If Cameron is to stay in the EU after that, he will need support from other member states.
If the UK leaves, it would have to leave the EU, because, while the British Parliament would still have to approve it, that has never happened.
"I don't believe you can stay in and have to leave," Cameron said in September.
brexit
The first referendum, which the British government has promised for the fall of 2017, would be a straight choice between remaining in the EU or leaving. The second, to be held a year later, would be a vote on whether to rejoin the EU. The third, in 2018, would ask if a new national referendum is needed.
The vote could take place as early as June or July this year. In any case, Britain will be unable to negotiate a new trade deal on its own, as its EU partners would not give its terms.
"We will not be offering what the EU has been offering so far, and which it will not be able to match," British Prime Minister Theresa May said last week, as she warned that leaving the EU could trigger a "no deal" scenario.
