Zorrow : en anglais l'agjectif épithète est placé *avant* le nom tongue

redangel > Well, if you want to translate the French adjective "végétal" into an English adjective, you can say vegetal (the "opposite" of animal) but according to the dictionary it's rather formal (ie mainly used for biology, I suppose, but I think *this* was the meaning I was looking for ^^), or vegetable (mainly used in such phrases as "vegetable oil") or else plant smile.

If I've made any mistake, please correct me smile (I'm not talking to you anymore red ^^, just to any one who thinks I am wrong (or right))

for your information, idiot is not an adjective, but only a noun (you can say "he's an idiot" but you cannot say "he's idiot").
The adjective is idiotic

Well, nuts is an adjective, indeed ^^. Actually, I had to check in the dictionnary because I didn't know this phrase and it sounded like a noun to me grin. (By the way, redangel : I thought you were asking Pollux).

Nuts is a (very) colloquial synonymous for crazy, mad, ... (colloquial, or informal, means you should not use such a word in an essay : you can say it, but avoid to write it down hehe).

I'll go on to choose... CRAZY ! grin

Oh ! #shame# #blush# Yes, dumb, of course ! ^^ How do you know all those ? (Or is it "those all" ? I don't think so but you never know ^^) Do you speak English as a mother tongue ? Or is it because of your experience (in English-speaking countries, for instance) ?
