une merde immonde ! avec un visual editor prehistorique, des modifications automatiques qui te font disparaitre des objets de ton arbre en les laissant dans le code sans que tu lui aies demande, ou parfois les 2, ou dans le pire des cas il perd l'architecture de l'arbre

Perso j'utilise netbeans que je trouve pas mal surtout justement pour son visual editor.

Les deux ce valent a peu près oui. Je n'ai pas testé enormément eclipse pour le juger, mais le problème que tu décris ne peut pas arriver sous Netbean.

Sous NetBean le code généré automatiquement ne peux pas être édité directement et vice versa.

Généralement, ces deux environnements de dev sont super lourds et les pop-ups qui affichent les possibilités de complétions ralentissent toute l'appli, dès que tu commences à écrire un début de commntaire (/*), ça rame trop, et le pire, je trouve c'est l'analyseur de code en temps réel : dès qu'on tape sur une touche, l'ensemble du source est parsé et les erreurs de syntaxe nous sont signalées, ce qui fait que quand on eest en train d'écrire une ligne, là encore ça rame trop parce que tant que la ligne n'est pas finie, ben la syntaxe n'est pas forcément correcte (genre il manque le ; de la fin). Je pense que c'est désactivable, mais je ne vois vraiment pas l'intérêt de cette feature vraiment lourde (et pourtant je n'utilisais pas un PC trop mauvais).

C'est clair que les deux environement sont très lourd. C'est pour ca que je ne les emploie pas sur mon 500Mhz. Mais au boulot avec un bon petit 3Ghz, ces logiciels sont très agréables.

Le surlignage(Sur netBean du moins) n'arrive que quand tu as terminé ta ligne ou que tu fais une petite pause en cours de frappe. Donc si tu code assez vite sans trop te poser de question ca va. Sinon(comme moi) on finit par vite l'oublier tant qu'on a pas fini sa ligne. C'est quand même bien pratique d'être prévenu dela plupart des fautes imédiatement.

Au taff j'ai pas le choix et j'ai éclipse, et je

liquid et Sasume (j'ajoute que quand win est configuré pour toujours donner le focus à la fenêtre qui est sous la souris même si elle est en arrière-plan (truc que je trouve indispensable, donc je configure comme ça), éclipse trouve intelligent de se mettre tout seul au premier plan dès que la souris passe devant sa fenêtre #trigol#, donc faut la réduire dès qu'on veut faire autre chose, vachement pratique :-\)
sans compter que ça rame pas mal

(bon l'antivirus qui se réactive tout seul toutes les deux heures et qu'il faut désactiver à la main pour pouvoir faire quoi que ce soit sux encore plus, mais entre l'un et l'autre...

genre si j'oublie de désactiver l'AV avant de faire "compiler" sous éclipse, j'en ai pour plusieurs minutes ou même la souris bouge plus)

On apprend à l'utiliser, en cours. A première vue, ça n'a pas l'air trop mal, ça change un peu de .NET, surtout qu'on doit écrire les fenêtres etc à la main, mais dans l'ensemble ça me plait, et puis il prend peu de place je crois, en + d'être gratuit.

Il y a des plug-ins pour concevoir les interfaces visuellement. Netbean et JBuilder eux font ça par défaut

Tu peux compiler en activant la compatibilité 1.4. Mais je ne me souviens plus des flags.
